The theme of this year's conference, "Social Psychiatry in an Increasingly Conflicted and Intolerant World," is both timely and profoundly relevant. Across the globe, societies are witnessing growing polarization, violence, displacement, social inequities, digital transformations, and unprecedented psychosocial challenges. These developments compel us to revisit the foundational principles of social psychiatry and reaffirm our commitment to understanding mental health within its broader social, cultural, economic, and political contexts.
